It’s a Love/Hate Relationship

Cineworld2Of course with my love of films, I enjoy going to the cinema on a regular basis. However, as your average poor student I can’t always afford to go – especially to the likes of Cineworld, the highest cinema in the world and also the UK’s busiest.

Definitely not the busiest with students mind you…

Located on Regent Street (North east of the city centre), it is opposite Buchanan Bus Station and closeby to both Charing Cross and Glasgow Queen Street train stations – perfect for travel.

Cineworld

The only downfall to this awesome place is of course the prices. I have only been a few times due to this and it totally kills me. I walk past everyday on my way to University and it just breaks my heart that I can’t afford to go here every time I wish to see a film.

I know what you’re thinking, most cinema prices are extortionate as it is but really, Cineworld takes this to a next level. If you are ever in Glasgow and do end up going I highly recommend you eat beforehand or do the sneaky maneuver and bring your own snacks (you won’t be the only one).

(TIP: There is a Sainsburys Local just across the road. Don’t say I’m not good to you lot!)

Like I said, I walk past everyday going to University so again, this is handy for students who have long breaks during classes maybe or just fancy a night out if they live in the student accommodation. It really just fits perfectly within the Glasgow area. It’s a brilliant place, I love it and it is for sure the best cinema to attend in the Glasgow area. I just hate how it is so expensive… But we can’t have it all can we?

This ladies and gentlemen, is a love/hate relationship at its best.
